Name: Jasper Rabbit.
Position: Main Presenter.
Background: Has anchored the Jasper Rabbit Show for the past 12 months. Descended from the Clan McRabbit and can trace his ancestry back to 1745 and Lachlan McRabbit of Culloden. He has a sister Sylvie and a brother Devon. His mother Grace lives in Edinburgh.
Special skills: Plays clarinet in the jazz band, The Warren Street Strutters. Also plays the bagpipes (badly) on air and occasionally sings (even worse). Has a fondness for jam doughnuts and rabbiting on.

Name: Lada Snek the snail.
Position: Assistant presenter and sound engineer.
Background: Originally from Czech Republic. She came to England with Jasper after they met in Prague.
Special Skills: Plays a mean ragtime piano and pilots the helicopter Jasper sometimes uses to get to the studio. She has her own band The Lada Snek Five. Has been known to take the back off the computer to correct any faults if Mr. Cronk the engineer is not available with his wrench. She moves remarkably quickly for a snail.

Name: Sylvie Rabbit.
Position: Scriptwriter and think tank.
Background: Jasper’s sister, the one with the posh voice, she has studied with the Federation of Rabbits. She writes the scripts and suggests storylines. Occasionally she appears on the programme.
Special skills: Keeps Jasper in line and plays moody trumpet with the Warren Street Strutters. Always carries some change to give Ena the Cleaner if required.

Name: Agnes McGillvary.
Position: Part time presenter. She presents the Retro Rabbit slot on the show, despite being a sheep.
Background: Originally from Inverness, she came to England with Jasper after they met at the Edinburgh Festival in 2003.
Special Skills: Very good at keeping the grass down in the studio garden. She plays lead guitar with her own band The McGillvary Clan and also conducts the massed band of the British Flock Association. She is very partial to Mr. Jones the drummer.

Name: Poppy Meadows.
Position: Paramedic and station superwoman.
Background: The local paramedic along with her assistant Vic Harwood. She occasionally gives Jasper and Lada a lift if they are running late. Jasper reads stories about her adventures in the show’s Book Corner. She has a pet budgie called Baz. Vic has a wife named Opal and son named Nathan.
Special Skills: Paramedic.

Name: Ena the Cleaner.
Position: Cleaner.
Background: Cleaner.
Special Skills: Cleaning and getting in the way. Always asking if anyone has any change. Also likes jelly beans.

Name: Sterio the Barbary Ape.
Position: Nothing decided.
Background: Hitched a ride with Jasper when he came back from the Rock of Gibraltar in September 2003.
Special skills: Plays the triangle and gets on everyone’s nerves.

Name: Fleur De Lance.
Position: Receptionist.
Background: Although distantly related to the Fer-de-lance vipers of South America, Fleur actually comes from Norwich. She is quite harmless, but has a bit of a temper. Her hiss is worse than her bite.
Special Skills: Very good at looking after the keys, changing pass words and keeping unwanted visitors out of the studio.
