Snapper is a crocodile who also likes to take pictures. One day he notices a dirty spot on the wall, and decides to find just the right picture to cover it. Out he goes into the
country side, looking for just the right picture to photograph. While the day doesn't go quite as he expects, Mr Snapper does surprise himself with just the right picture.
Rather than providing the traditional illustrations, Stephenson encourages young readers to draw their own illustrations. This interactive method encourages their imaginations
wonderfully. In addition, she also encourages young artists to send their pictures to Linda the Jester for publication in her gallery. What a marvelous idea!

illustrations. Instead, she invites kids to draw the illustrations themselves. After each chapter, Linda gives some hints what the reader could draw. The best pictures can be
